About Lara Hoefs
Over the last 13 years, Lara has been a producer of transmedia content, digital media, social media, documentaries and creative content. She’s worked for every major studio and contributed to well over 100 marketing campaigns. Lara has additionally provided strategic insights to the campaigns of many entertainment and brand properties. Most recently she served as Brand Manager & Transmedia Producer on The Twilight Saga franchise.
With a master’s degree in Media Psychology & Social Change, Lara melds her professional experience with that of social psychological theory and research of digital life to inform her unique insights on the future of entertainment and business in a media rich world. She has a passion for teaching and has been honored to speak at several international conferences and institutions, including Comic-Con International, Merging Media, Silicon Beach Fest and UCLA Anderson’s prestigious EDGE program.
Lara is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America (New Media Council), the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Interactive Media), Transmedia LA and Silicon Beach LA.
